Your experience begins with a welcome pour of one of Donum’s celebrated wines before embarking on a guided walking tour through the Donum Home, Rose Garden, and our internationally renowned Sensory Garden—a dynamic space designed to engage the senses through art, aroma, texture, and sound. As you explore, you’ll encounter monumental works by globally acclaimed artists, each thoughtfully placed to enhance the surrounding landscape. The journey concludes with a private seated wine tasting, thoughtfully paired with artfully crafted canapé bites.

Etude Estate’s Carneros Pinot Noir not only reflects the winery’s dedication to excellence, an exemplary showcase of the finesse and depth that the Carneros AVA can impart to this noble grape.  For this reason, connoisseurs and casual wine enthusiasts alike visit the Estate to discover the profound beauty and depth of Carneros Pinot Noir.

Weather permitting, your lunch experience will be hosted out in the newly built Plaza adjacent to the tasting room and lounges. This experience will include a three-course lunch serving paired with a selection of Pinot Noirs & hearty Cabernet Sauvignons to provide you with a full edification of what makes Etude so distinct.

About Etude Winery

Tucked away in the far northwest corner of the esteemed Carneros appellation is a rambling tract of grazing land that is bisected by the Rodgers Creek Fault Line at the southern toe of Sonoma Mountain. Unlike customary Carneros acreage, which is largely uplifted by bottoms with soils composed of clay, the soils on the Etude Estate site are variations of volcanic origin. They are well drained, rocky upland soils. Combining these soils with the extreme western location closer to the Pacific Ocean makes this site a decidedly distinct destination (if not entirely atypical for Carneros). Etude believes sustainable farming results in better, higher quality wine, and ensures the viability of their estate for generations to come. Known for their flagship Heirloom Pinot Noir to their small-lot Napa Valley Cabernet and customer favorite Pinot Gris, Etude has been crafting award-winning wines for 35 years.
